AIAA Region II Student Conference

 

As we continue to work through the details of this year's conference this page will be updated.

The conference registration is on Wednesday, 4 April 2018 tenatively scheduled for 4:00 pm until 10:30 pm at the Mobile Marriott (3101 Airport Boulevard, Mobile, AL  36606).  We ask all attendees to check-in with the AIAA registration table before checking in with the hotel.  

Presenters will have the opportunity to upload their visual aids during check-in. For more information regarding visual aids, please review the session format page.

A welcome social is being planned.  Please check back for more details.  Join us to meet corporate sponsors, AIAA professional members, and student members from the Southeastern Region.  

The conference will be held at the Mobile Marriott.  The opening ceremony will be Thursday morning and will be followed by the technical sessions. A luncheon featuring guest speaker will be served midday followed by afternoon sessions.

Thursday evening all attendees are invited to participate in an exciting activity that will have you traveling throughout the city.  There will be prizes available for those who participate.

Friday will continue with technical sessions.  A tour will be held Friday afternoon.  As soon as we have the details on the number of attendees that can be accomodated we will update this page with the details.  Please note that if there is a limit to the number of tour tickets available they will be disiminated on a first registered basis.  

The conference will close with our Awards Banquet sponsored by our Corporate Sponsor on Friday evening.  Business attire is requested.  A social hour will begin at 5:30 pm outside of the ballroom.  Dinner will be served promptly at 6:30 pm.

Immediately following the Awards Banquet all winners and professional members are invited to a Winners Reception.

Students' rooms will be reserved for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights so everyone can get a good night's sleep before they have to drive home.
